The 15th Hillsborough Township "Economic & Business Development Commission" Business Social will be held on Wednesday, October 20th at 6:00 PM. The event will be held at the Royce Brook Country Club in the Pavilion which is located at 201 Hamilton Road. www.roycebrook.com. Please click here to view the menu items for the evening.
The guest speaker at the Business Social will be Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno who has been given responsibility by Gov. Christie for economic development in the state including making it more business friendly; attracting and retaining businesses; and reducing red tape (she chairs the Red Tape Review Working Group). She will discuss state initiatives to help small businesses.
We have 120 registered attendees with confirmation that Mayor DelCore and the Township Committee will be in attendance. This is a great opportunity, particularly for newer businesses in Hillsborough, to meet with their fellow business colleagues, the Mayor, Township Committee and other Township officials including those from the business permitting and inspections Departments.
I encourage all attendees to bring literature and offer door prizes to help promote your business. Please send me an email at gstrupinsky@hillsborough-nj.org if you would like to provide a door prize. There will be literature tables set-up around the room for your information to be on display.
The fee will be $10.00 payable at the event by cash or check made out to Royce Brook Golf Club.
Lastly, don't forget to bring plenty of business cards, arrive early and stay late. It will be another great business social event!
