| We will be having our annual Christmas Party at the Cactus Cantina and Grill again this year. I had hoped to have a covered dish event in our big studio at Douglas Photographic, but unfortunately we are not done with construction. So we'll look forward to doing that next year and for this year we'll have Daniel host our party again.
We will start at 5 P.M. on December 9th and have a buffet dinner with several choices of Mexican food and one or two American choices.

The cost will be $12 per adult and $5 per child (under 15). This will cover the buffet dinner and soft drink. Use the links above to register. Do not call the restaurant for reservations.
There will of course be a visit by Santa and he will probably have an elf along with him. We will also have our usual White Elephant Gift Exchange. For those who don't know, we exchange gifts by drawing numbers. These gifts not-necessarily-new but they do need to be wrapped (keep in mind there will be children involved too). That all sounds simple and pleasant enough, but the fun part is in the execution;
- Everyone gets to draw a number.
- I get to draw the numbers from a hat.
- When your number is called you get to select a gift to open.
- OR - if you chose to, you can steal a gift that someone else has already opened.
- Once a gift is stolen, that person can now open a new gift, OR steal a gift from someone else, and so on until all the gifts are gone.
This gift exchange is always a highlight of the party and the gifts that travel around the room are always amusing.
Don't miss this event, it's always a good time.
