Lilypons is just a few minutes off the highway and will take you miles away from stress and concrete.

It is located on over 300 acres of natural ponds, woods and rolling hills, next to the Monocacy River. Graceful weeping willows greet you as you curve around the entrance drive. Catch a glimpse of a great blue heron taking flight or the opening of a waterlily in the early morning.

A macro and medium telephoto lenses are the preferred equipment of choice.

This will be an early morning shoot to avoid crowds and catch the waterlillies as they open. The safari will begin at 6:00AM at the gardens.
