Collaborating organisations see real value from rapid pitching and networking activities as a means of supporting business growth. It helps to quickly identify business development opportunities, sourcing of business-critical expertise, or development of collaborative routes to market. This event will very efficiently integrate your networks and identify very relevant business contacts you didn’t know existed.
Main content of event
Companies who are supplying products and expertise will give a 90 second elevator pitch covering the following points:
· Who you are
· What your business delivers
· How you work
· Who you work with
· What you have to offer or what you are looking for from other companies
Following the elevator pitches there will be time for informal networking to explore opportunities with companies of interest.
Companies from both groups are invited to pitch in the event. However, if you don’t want to pitch, then just come along and be part of the audience, with the chance to identify new companies of importance to your business.
Pitching training
You can maximise the benefit of the event by attending the pitching training session directly before the main event. Jim Davidson of Speaking Expert specialises in improving the public speaking skills of Entrepreneurs and Business Leaders. In the last 25 years he has started, owned and operated over 10 businesses. Some have been very successful and some have been complete disasters. It was through one of these that he discovered his passion for public speaking and now helps business leaders to become the public speakers they already think they are.
