Artists and cultural organizations are invited to participate in the next step of planning for Arts Partners at a second Arts and Culture Focus Meeting. Consultants Gigi Antoni and Gina Thorsen of Big Thought in Dallas Texas will report the feedback received from recent community conversations, input from the arts community and interviews with partnering school districts. Understanding the priorities of all stakeholders is essential as we move toward aligning agendas and begin to define the scope of our work.

Arts Partners is a new vision for integrating arts and culture into every classroom in the Portland metropolitan area. This collaborative initiative involves the Regional Arts and Culture Council, NW Business for Culture and the Arts, Young Audiences of Oregon and SW Washington, the City of Portland, Multnomah and Clackamas Counties, the local arts and culture community and five school districts including Beaverton, Gresham-Barlow, Hillsboro, North Clackamas and Portland.
