Youth Leader Track*
Separate workshops for girls and guys will focus on empowerment, self-expression, visioning our future, developing strategies and ending stigma.
9:00 - 10:00 Keynote with Dr. Patricia Quinn
10:15-12:15 Morning Workshops for Youth Leaders
12:15-1:00 Lunch and Play for Youth Leaders
1:15-4:00 Afternoon Workshops for Youth Leaders
*Attendance of one parent/guardian is required for ADHD youth ages 15 and under.
Parent's Leadership Track*
Parents/Professionals are invited to attend a separate speaker series that will address new research into the science of and treatment options for ADHD, promoting self-esteem and healthy family dynamics and post-secondary education.
Speakers include Dr. Patricia Quinn, Dr. Anthony Rostain, Dr. Russell Ramsey and many other luminaries in the field.
*All parents, friends and professionals are welcome to attend the Leadership Track. Be prepared to be educated, empowered and join our efforts to change the world!
When & Where
ADHD Aware is proud to offer scholarships for one parent and one child to attend the first National ADHD Youth Leadership Summit. The scholarships will include admission for one parent/guardian and one child, and for families coming from out of town, travel expenses for both and a hotel stay at the Sheraton University City in Philadelphia. The summit empowers children with ADHD to celebrate their uniqueness, learn leadership skills, meet others like them and learn strategies for success.
To enter, please submit a 2-minute video or an essay that says, "I have ADHD and I am..." or "I have ADHD and I can..." Consider answering the question, "How do you rock your world with ADHD." The video will be used for our "Change The World Campaign" and also be posted on YouTube. An example of this video idea can be found on the .
