Organising an Event for 2007? Register it here.
Thursday, November 08, 2007 from 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM (PT)
This was the webcast registration for the event taking place at Microsoft in Redmond, WA. This document full instructions (.doc) covered the download instructions for remotely accessing the live webcast. This is not required to view the webcast now, after the fact.
The webcasts are now available for you to view --see the links in the materials below. You will need to enter a "user name" but you will not need a "recording key". Note that, depending on the security settings of your browser, you may be prompted to temporarily allow pop-ups.Note that you will have a choice between 2 formats: 1) The high-fidelity presentation includes video of the speakers as well as screen capture of their slides. 2) There is also a "replay" alternative which contains the screen capture and audio only.
You can select to View or to Download either of these. Which alternative will work best for you depends on the speed of your connection and whether you want to download and view or view over the internet. (I myself typically choose to download the High-Fidelity Presentations. After the file downloads, right click on it to select to "Extract" the contents. After the compressed file is extracted / unzipped, click on the START.HTML file to start the Live Meeting playback.)
-------------
Do you play a part in creating tools and technology for other people to use?
Hear from key professionals at Microsoft, sharing techniques that have worked best in bringing to fruition our “People-Ready” mission, and how you, we and others across the software industry together affect the users’ experience.
