The Transformational Small Churches seminar is a one-day conference focused on the issues, challenges and opportunities of small churches.  Featured speakers are Ed Stetzer and Tom Rainer.  It is presented by Lifeway Publishing and is being simulcast from Nashville, TN

Ed Stetzer is director of LifeWay Research and LifeWay’s missiologist in residence. He has published 9 books on related topics, including "Comeback Churches", "Viral Churches" and "11 Innovations in the Local Church".  Thom Rainer is President of Lifeway and has also written on the topic.

Deer Park Baptist Church is hosting the event, and there is no charge.  Lunch is not included, but we plan to eat together at nearby restaurants.  The format will allow both teaching time and discussion.  One benefit will be the development of relationships between pastors and church leaders of similarly-sized churches.

Registration begins at 10:20 and the simulcast begins at 11am.  Lunch is 12:30-1:30.  The last presentation ends at 5pm, and the local event will conclude around 5:15pm
