Besides founding a theater and as a result bringing the joy of improv
to thousands,the members of ColdTowne are also fantastic performers.
ColdTowne's shows are darkly satiric character pieces that explore the
absurd predictability of human behavior in all its many forms. While the
flow of the show changes with each set, expect deep character work and
comedy hijinks.
ColdTowne puts character ahead of stories and ideas in their improv.
Situations arise from their character's warped and unreasonable
perspectives on the world around them.
The residents of ColdTowne come from a variety of backgrounds:
absurdist art, journalism, and business. Together they populate
ColdTowne with long- and short-form improv, sketch, stand-up,
screenwriting, guerilla film, music, and lots of nerdy blogging.

The Reckoning
Location
The Reckoning is the longest-running, most infamous improv group in
Chicago.
