For generations, man has struggled with the age old question: what
makes a man, a man? In 2010, Ben Silburn and Rod Ben Zeev discovered the
answer after a late night joint. The answer was transformed into a show
and the show was performed for a grateful all-female
audience in Florence, Italy as part of an effort to raise money to
prevent violence against women in Africa.
In this totally improvised performance Ben and Rod will take the
audience on a journey that will finally explain why men behave the way
they do and whether this vicious cycle can ever be stopped.
Live Man Show is a 50 minute improvised show about the various stages
in an audience member's life from birth to death. The show breaks the
forth wall in its first ten minutes gathering info from one male
audience member and continues for an additional 40 minutes by showing
the various stages in this person's life without breaking the forth
wall.
Live Man Show is a theater piece that happens to be improvised. Every
show takes the audience on a unique journey that combines physical and
verbal play which will be both funny and touching.
