Course Outline:
This course will focus on TMD (temporomandibular dysfunction), looking at it from a whole body perspective. You will learn the clinical presentation of symptoms and learn to determine myofascial pain syndrome from an internal joint derangement.
Course Objectives:
- Understand TMD dysfunction from a whole body perspective.
- Be able to distinguish between myofascial pain and an internal joint derangement.
- Understand and utilize a variety of techniques for the treatment of TMD.
- Learn more craniosacral techniqes and intra-oral techniques.
