VOLUNTEER AT IRISH FAIR 2010
Join TeamFINNEGANS as we work one of our biggest events of the year--Irish Fair! This three-day event promotes FINNEGANS Irish Amber, the FINNEGANS Community Fund, and the impact we have on our community. We have several shifts and volunteer jobs available. When you complete your online sign-up, you can indicate a preference for any of the volunteer jobs below:
WHAT: In general, share the FINNEGANS story, and be a generally fun person! Don't worry--we can train anyone (and we mean anyone!). No experience necessary.
- Merchandice Table: Help us deck-out Fair-goers in FINNEGANS merchandise
- Donation/Sales Table: Share the FINNEGANS story and chat about upcoming events and the Community Fund, assist interested consumers in signing up for our newsletter/following us on Twitter & Facebook so they can keep in touch with us after the fair.
- Sampler: You'll be everyone's favorite lad or lass today as you'll be in charge of passing out samples of our Charitably Delicious Irish Amber.
- Rotating Volunteer: You're the go-to volunteer to help wherever is needed at the fair, mostly helping with mechandise and sampling
- Tattoo Artist: Hand out and apply temporary FINNEGANS tattoos created specially for Irish Fair. Don't worry--no artistic skills necessary.
- Freckle Finders/30 min. Activities: Freckle Finders will be walking around the fair reading peoples "freckle findings" and helping drive consumers to the Crossroads tent. On Friday and Saturday, these volunteers will also be helping with the FINNEGANS Shenanigans which are short 30 minute activities throughout the day including an Potato sack peeling contest/race! Need to be quite the out going lad or lassie for this one.
WHO: Anyone 21+!
ADDED PERKS: Live music, outdoor activities, and a slew of other TeamFINNEGANS volunteers. As you can see, we have a ton of fun activites planed!

TeamFINNEGANS is the official FINNEGANS Volunteer brigade. Join this group of social, community-minded, beer-loving folks as we spread the word about FINNEGANS, our mission, and hunger issues in our community.
TeamFINNEGANS supports FINNEGANS Irish Amber, the world's only beer to donate 100% of profits to local charities. Since 2003, we have donated over $190,000 through the FINNEGANS Community Fund, a 501(c)3 non-profit.
At TeamFINNEGANS:
- We wish to create social change by developing innovative business models and exploring social entrepreneurship opportunities.
- We believe that awareness about pressing issues can be broadened through events and environments that are fun and social.
