User Experience Management in a Globally Distributed Development Environment

by Timothy J. Scanlon - President and CEO Alucid Solution Inc.

In today’s competitive markets where speed-to-market is mission critical, product development lifecycle activities follow the sun. Product and service offerings are envisioned, planned, developed, tested and taken to market by individuals and teams scattered across the planet. These offerings are often designed for target markets and cultures far away from the design source. Managing the design and development of the customer experience across stakeholder resources for culturally diverse end users is a daunting task. This workshop will explore and demonstrate specific methodologies that are useful for effectively integrating user experience design and evaluation into your organization. In the spirit of World Usability Day 2008, the workshop will include live remote collaboration with Usability colleagues in Atlanta, Georgia U.S.
