Are you smarter than your Smartphone?

Has your Blackberry, iPhone, HTC, or Palm got your brain in a knot? Do you sometimes get overwhelmed by all of the features and gizmos that inundate your home screen? This workshop will help you make sense of the bells and whistles as well as provide suggestions on how to bring your smartphone to peak productivity. There will also be an opportunity for each participant to get help with their most frustrating issues.

COMBA



The Central Ohio Minority Business Association (COMBA), a 501 © (3) organization, was founded in 1978.  As a business and economic development agency providing direct services for start-up, emerging and mature minority, female and disadvantaged small business owners, services include: general business training, specialized industry training, one-on-one direct business counseling, and networking.  

COMBA serves the entire State of Ohio, with an emphasis on Franklin, Licking, Fairfield, Pickaway, Madison, Union and Delaware counties.  COMBA is known as Your Business Resource.  Its mission includes provision of direct, quality business and contract procurement assistance which contributes to the growth and stability of Ohio’s underutilized businesses with an emphasis on minority, female, socially and economically disadvantaged business enterprises. 

COMBA is committed to assisting small business with meeting the challenges of the global marketplace. COMBA has maintained strong strategic partnerships that:

• assists minority and small businesses in the delivery of services and programming to survive and prosper;

• encourage business development and expansion throughout the region;

• provides training, workshops and seminars on topics relevant to our clients and the growth of their enterprises.

COMBA actively engages minority, disadvantaged, and women owned businesses through the process of self-employment. COMBA administers The Central Ohio Minority Business Assistance Center which is funded by the Ohio Department of Development. COMBA also manages a construction plan room.

The Central Ohio Women’s Business Center is another economic development program of COMBA. The goal of the program is to advocate, develop and empower women business owners in all phases of entrepreneurship through education/training, counseling and networking.
