Given the number of non-profits competing for funding in today’s economy, clarity and focus in articulating your organization’s point of difference is critical to success.  So how do we get others to understand what makes an organization unique? And what do you need to say and do to bring this to light?

In this workshop, you will learn how to articulate clearly who you are, and what it is you do really well, in a way that is easy for others to understand, especially funders and donors. You’ll learn how to assess other organizations that compete for dollars in your sector, unearthing how they project themselves, so you can strengthen how you stand out from the crowd. We will create a communications worksheet so you can put this work into practice in your own organization.

Presenter Sarah R. Moore is a non-profit communications consultant who leads organizations to strategic clarity and focus in communicating their purpose to funders, donors, and volunteers alike. She spent her first 20 years as a senior executive in some of the world's largest advertising agencies. Her current practice provides brand strategy, communications consulting and action plans for a wide variety of non-profits from social justice to children’s advocacy.
