Songwriting for Kids - Music Camp

MONDAY-FRIDAY, AUGUST 2-6
Boys & Girls ages 6-12 years
9:30 am-12:00 pm

Your child will learn what is comprised within the structure of a song, i.e. verse, chorus, bridge, melody, lyrics, rhyme schemes, etc. We will then learn how to construct a song as a group; the ultimate co-writing experience! After writing the song, we will record it on the Garage Band computer application, a songwriter's best friend! And to complete the songwriting experience, you will also receive an emailed MP3/Lyric Sheet of the song we write that day, which you can then burn to a CD at home and have as a lasting memory of your child's first song!

Click the link below to hear the song the kids wrote at our last one-day Songwriting Workshop.
Then just imagine what your kids can do in a whole week!

"Dream On" - Songwriting Workshop 6/11/2010 (mp3 format)
