Featuring a tropical Christmas theme, the event will offer guests complimentary makeovers, door prize, silent auction, gift bags, DJ, and cash bar. In keeping with the holiday spirit, proceeds from this event will help send homeless children to kindergarten through the Courage for Kids GIVE BACK-pack Initiative for Bright Beginnings Child Development Center. This will not only be a fun night out, but a wonderful way to help the at-risk children in our community. Representatives from the Bright Beginnings program, the beneficiary of the event, such as their CEO and board members will be in attendance.

Courage for Kids is a 501(3)c nonprofit registered in the State of Virginia as The Courage Cup. Their mission is to create, find, and support programs for at-risk children that directly improve the health and well-being of those children in the Mid-Atlantic region through financial support and volunteer commitment. About Bright Beginnings Child Development Center

Bright Beginnings (www.brightbeginningsinc.org) serves about 186 children annually whose families are living in crisis shelters or transitional housing. Bright Beginnings, Inc. was established in 1991 by the Junior League of Washington, who identified a critical need for quality childcare among homeless families in Washington, D.C. Since then, Bright Beginnings have met the needs of over 1,500 homeless children by providing families with childcare and on-site therapeutic and family support services. In 2005, Bright Beginnings launched its Early Learning Evening Care Program that is open to all working families in need of safe, reliable evening care.

Bright Beginnings is dedicated to meeting the immediate needs of children and families living in homeless environments and was established to:
