This month we are proud to present Scott
Muldavin, Executive Director of the Green Building Finance
Consortium.
Finding financing that accurately reflects the environmental, social and economic benefits of your green development project is difficult. Find out why and what Mr. Muldavin and others in the finance community are doing to change this. Specifically, Scott will be presenting on the challenges of valuing and underwriting sustainable properties, provide suggestions to developers on how to identify and work with capital sources, and give a sneak peak into what his organization has been working on this summer.
For 25 years, Mr. Muldavin has advised the nation’s leading real estate companies including Bank of America, RREEF, Great West Life, UBS, Alaska Permanent Fund, Catellus, Equitable Real Estate, Standard Insurance Company, Merrill Lynch, and Freddie Mac. He has also advised CalPERS, Ohio State Teachers and scores of other real estate equity investors. Scott is a Co-founder of Guggenheim Real Estate, a $4 billion private real estate investment company, and developed the first mortgage risk-rating system for Standard and Poors Corporation that helped initiate the $600 billion plus CMBS industry. In 2006, Mr. Muldavin founded and became Executive Director of the Green Building Finance Consortium located in Marin County.
Our gracious sponsor this month is Duff and Phelps. Please take a moment to learn more about their services.
We hope you find this new invitation to your liking--it sure makes our lives easier. See you on Oct 9th!
Cheers,
Orion and Ari
