Ian Anstey, *
Ian has years of experience working in start-up businesses including in a business backed by 3i, prior to joining SAP to head up the UK arm of SAP Business ByDesign. He is a passionate advocator of start-ups and has considerable experience of applying the right growth strategies in a business to ensure it grows rapidly. In particular, he is a believer in using software-as-a-service as a financial model for early stage businesses to achieve exponential growth on a limited budget. He will be speaking about why every business professional should work in a start-up at least once in their career.
Jeremy Biggs *
Jeremy is a founding partner of Ashberg Limited, an innovative multi-family office dedicated to the prosperity, entrepreneurial spirit and capital preservation of a select group of unique families.
Previously, Jeremy was the Director of Distribution at Northern Trust Global Investments, a leading provider of investment management for family offices and institutions. In 2005, Jeremy worked for CSTIM (Consultant Service to Investment Managers) as a senior strategy consultant, mainly assisting with the creation of optimisation of operating models for family offices and private banks.
After serving for ten years as a British Army Officer, Jeremy joined a leading UK Private Bank, where he carried out financial planning and asset allocation for wealthy families.
Jeremy holds the IMC, IAQ and FPC qualifications and is a member of the Society of Investment Professionals.
