Event Details
The Future Jobs Fund provides a young person with a paid work placement and support from a career coach over a period of 6 months.
We are currently holding recruitment days in your area to give you access of over 200 different employment opportunities work placements in a whole range of industry sectors and skills.
Our aim is help a young person gain relevant and interesting work experience in the career of their choice.
During the session, our career coach will
- Help you develop a career action plan
- Help you refine your CV and interview skills,
- Give you an overview of the jobs opportunities we have available.
The Future Jobs Fund will enable you to source an interesting paid 6 months work placement, help you to establish a track record of new skills and activites and learn effective job search techniques.
Please bring along your Future Jobs Opportunities Letter from JCP and your CV to the recruitment day. As this is manadtory.
The recruitment programme is open to young people aged 18-24 who have been in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance for between 6-10 months.
