The private viewing will be a showcase of Klara Orosz and Hannah Westwood's most recent creations; the artists will also be discussing their work. Both are fresh from their MFAs at Goldsmiths:

Westwood's sexually charged manga-esque murals explore spaces and Orosz's installation invites spectators to sit, touch and play while blurring the natural/artificial boundaries. Hannah Westwood is an avant-garde muralist. Working with architectural structures rather than against them, Her installations enforce a second-skin onto their surfaces. Her sexually charged use of transient mediums - such as graphite and chalk - highlights the impermanence of the perversity being played out, as a kind of artistic suicide.

Klara Orosz's installations have been exhibited in Russia, Hungary, Germany, Croatia, Serbia, and the UK. Her pieces blur the boundaries of life and death while exposing the artificial within the natural - and the natural within the artificial.

Tenderpixel is a cutting-edge new gallery situated in the heart of Soho, just off St Martin's Lane, set up and managed by Goldsmiths MA /Stanford BA alumni Etan Jonathan Ilfeld. Every two months, Tenderpixel will introduce a new up and coming London-based artist, with a predilection for conceptual art, but also forays into design, painting, New Media Art, Video Art and sculpture.
