We invite you to attend the 2nd Annual Asian American Environmental Symposium. This is a chance for you to connect with all levels of professionals, officials, and future leaders to discuss environmental challenges. This year's conference will be held in a round-table environment with plenty of opportunities to network.

Program Highlights

Ranging from national political leaders to local scientists, experts in their specific field will discuss numerous approaches to solving our environmental problems.

This year's lineup includes:

  • H. David Nahai, 2007 LADWP Commission President
  • Dr. Chung Liu of the South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD)
  • Dr. Chang Seung Park, CE-CERT, of UCR
  • Piyachat Terrel from the White House EPA Asian American and Pacific Islander Initiative
  • Alex Kim from the CA Governor's Office
  • CA Assemblymember Mike Eng
  • Darryl Young, Chairman of the National Recycling Coalition

  • An international panel discussing Korea, India, and China environmental impacts in Asia
