Event Details

The Chinese Culture Center annually offers four sessions of Mandarin classes for adults and for children. The Weekend Adults Mandarin Class teaching style is interactive with an emphasis on spoken language for practical use, and some character learning. Students participate in simple conversations and respond to visual tools for vocabulary building. The teacher is a native of China, and an experienced, professional teacher with a degree in language education. This is an enthusiastic teacher who makes learning fun for students of all levels. Adult classes emphasize conversational Mandarin basics, Chinese cultural practices, and some essential characters. Advanced Beginner Adult Mandarin Class - For those continuing on from level one, advanced-beginners.

Weekend Adults beginner's Mandarin Class schedule: October 2, 2010 – December 18, 2010, every Saturday, 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm, break from Nov. 6 & Nov. 27. Tuition: $150 per person for CCC members and $175 for non-CCC members ALL CLASSES ARE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. All transactions are final, no refunds, no exceptions.
