Certification Options

Autodesk offers a range of certification options to help you achieve your goals, including certification for industry professionals, students, and instructors.

Students and professionals wishing to receive Autodesk Certification in Autodesk software can pursue two pathways.

Autodesk Certified User

Coming later in 2013. Those who are relatively new to Autodesk software and want to demonstrate basic proficiency can seek to become Certified Users. Certification at this level helps demonstrate a commitment to career development.

Autodesk Certified Professional

Those who possess more advanced skills and can solve complex workflow and design challenges will, in most cases, pursue recognition as Certified Professionals. Certification at this level demonstrates the skills needed to stand out from the competition and pursue career advancement.

Prepare for the Exam

These are not easy exams. Taking a class at an Autodesk Authorized Training Center or enrolling in an Autodesk Certified ATC E-Learning class are excellent ways to gain the necessary knowledge and confidence. Another option are the high quality online video tutorials and Exam Preparation courses at CADLearning.

Please PRINT and bring your ticket(s) to the testing center. D|C|CADD is located on the 18th floor.

ADA. Our facility is ADA compliant and the full-time security guard is available should you require additional assistance. If you require special considerations for testing (special desk height, larger monitor text, etc.) you MUST advise us at least 48 hours in advance so that we may accommodate your needs.

Parking. Sorry, there is no free parking at this location. Please bring cash or credit card to feed the machine at the parking garage exit.

DART. The Las Colinas station on the Orange Line is immediately in front of our building. It is a 300 yard walk and is ADA accessible.

What to bring. We suggest a light sweater or jacket for comfort. We provide computers with the appropriate software, notepads and pencils. You may store your belongings near you in the testing room. No reference materials are permitted.

Electronic devices. Phones, tablets, etc. must be silenced or turned off and put away. You may only use the testing computer.
