Saturday, the huge balloons, including some with unique whimsical shapes, take to the skies at approximately 7:00 a.m. Join us for the Shenandoah Valley Balloon Festival at the Long Branch Estate in Millwood, Va. While the balloons are the real stars, these massive airborne craft are just the beginning of the entertainment and numerous activities taking place Saturday and Sunday from sunrise to sunset. There is an antique car show at the same time as the balloon festival, so once the balloons are out of site, we will head to the carshow to photograph some really cool cars.
The $10 admission price is included in the event price.
We are meeting at the Sheetz Gas Station in Haymarket, Va. at 5:45am so we can be in position to take pictures before liftoff and sunrise.
