Barbara Shapiro, CFP, CFS, CDFA - Barbara Shapiro is vice president of HMS Financial Group, a full-service investment and financial planning firm. She has lectured to professional groups throughout the country on divorce financial analysis, investing, long-term care insurance, and divorce planning. Barbara has been interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the Boston Herald, the Boston Globe, the Boston Business Journal, “NPR’s “The Connection,” and WBZ News Radio, as well as many others. She has served as Treasure of the Massachusetts Council of Economic Education. Currently, Barbara serves as Regional Director of Institute of Certified Divorce Financial Analysts (IDFA).

Karen Buckley, Esquire - Karen is an attorney practicing in Newton, and has, for nearly twenty years, represented clients in all aspects of family law. She is admitted to practice in New York and Massachusetts. Karen has participated in numerous public education seminars on divorce, mentored new lawyers in the area of domestic relations, and works closely with financial experts to guide clients through the divorce process.
