We invite you to STAC’s “Technology and Business in the Philippines” Networking Dinner.

During the past two decades, the Science and Technology Advisory Council has served as an advisory body to the Philippine government as well as Philippine-based universities and businesses with a particular emphasis on technology-based industries, such as electronics, telecommunications, semiconductors, software, biotechnology, and healthcare. In these growing industries, STAC believes emerging economies, particularly the Philippines, are currently faced with the exciting challenge of competing in dynamic global markets, as well as a real opportunity of establishing, over the long term, substantial bases for domestic industrial growth.

Join us as we share recent developments including STAC's 5 year strategic plan, an update on winners of Plug and Play's business plan competition held in Manila in February, the launch of Department of Science & Technology's registry, and other interesting projects. Learn more about STAC and hear how your expertise and talent can add value to efforts currently underway to empower the Philippines through Science & Technology. It is an excellent opportunity to discover a new calling, network with professionals as well as mentor students.
