Join the Comox Valley Farm Cycle Tour on August 6, 2011 and experience the supernatural beauty of the  Comox Valley and it's rich culinary bounty.   Hosted by the Comox Valley Cycling Coalition in partnership with the Comox Valley Farmers' Market Association, Comox Valley Farmers' Institute, and Discover Comox Valley.    Enjoy the Comox Valley’s stunning coastline and rolling hills at this unique event promoting cycling and exercise, in addition to showcasing the outstanding agriculture community of the Comox Valley. Local producers will be opening their farms, many of which are not normally accessible, and inviting participants to experience farm markets, demonstrations and tours.

The Comox Valley Farm Cycle Tour is self-guided and includes 3 itinerary loops with each loop offering options for shorter or longer distances. On the day of the event, registered cyclists will be required to sign an event waiver and will then receive a route map with directions and locations of the farm stops on the itinerary loop they have chosen.  Comox Valley Farm Cycle Tour signs will be posted at the entrance of each participating farm.

To complete your registration, on event day you will need to fill out a waiver and then you will receive a copy of the map for the route you have registered for.

For the Rural Ramble and Back Road Bliss routes, you will pick up your map and waiver form at the Comox Valley Farmers Market located at 4839 Headquarters Road, Courtenay. For the Bayviews route, you will pick up your map and waiver form at the registration tent on the corner of Marine Drive and Warren Avenue, Royston.
