Event Details

An invitation to urban farmers and food justice activists: 


Please join us for:

- Workshop on legal issues that arise for commercial and nonprofit urban farmers.

- Presentation describing SELC’s research on hot legal topics.

- Group discussion on legal issues and ways to break down legal barriers to urban ag.

- Mixer to continue the conversation and build community!

                

PLUS: We will offer a series of free 30 minute consultations with a SELC attorney from 2pm to 5:30pm. To apply for a consultation, please send an email to Chris Curran curranc@uchastings.edu with a few sentences describing your project and legal issues you might like to discuss.

 

Snacks will be served! 

Suggested Donation: $5 to $10.  Feel free to make a donation online now or in cash or check at the event.  If you want to make your donation at the event, select the free option when you register above.

And/or bring some fresh harvested or foraged fruit or veggies to share!
