SHOULD I, SHOULDN'T I? A discussion of Ethics in Minnesota Insurance-Part I
This course has been submitted to the Minnesota Commissioner of Commerce for 1 hour of Insurance Ethics continuing education (approval pending).
We will discuss the concept of ethics as it relates to various Minnesota Insurance laws and certain Federal regulations. The discussion will cover Minnesota Statutes 60K.46 Required and Prohibited Acts, 60K.56 Continuing Insurance Education and 72A.20 Methods, Acts, and Practices Which are Defined as Unfair or Deceptive. The Federal regulations covered will consist of Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, HIPAA, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Come to the event ready to participate in the discussion.
