Frank Shadpour, P.E., LEED AP,

ASHRAE Fellow,

President, SC Engineers, Inc. 

Mr. Shadpour is the president of SC Engineers. He is an ASHRAE Fellow and a registered Mechanical Engineer. He has been the instructor of "HVAC Design & Control" courses at the University of California, San Diego since 1987 and is past President of ASHRAE, San Diego. Currently, he serves as the Program Chair of ASHRAE Technical Committee TC1.4 "Control Theory and Application."  Mr. Shadpour is the author of The Fundamentals of HVAC Direct Digital Controls, and has over 25 years of experience in design and control of HVAC systems. He has his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California, USC.

 

Program Description: This presentation focuses on the emerging technologies for green buildings in order to achieve net-zero energy consumption. It will also examine the advantages and disadvantages of the proven energy efficient systems for various types of buildings.

Who Should Attend? Facility Managers, Owner Representatives, Builders, Design Professionals, LEED Accredited Professionals and those involved in energy consumption and operation of energy efficient facilities.

Directions:

North Gate on Miramar Road

Gate is between Camino Ruiz and Kearny Villa Road. Once on base, continue straight through the four-way stop intersection at Delta Road and turn right at the first traffic signal onto Elrod Avenue. Continue to the end of the street and turn left onto Anderson Avenue. The Palms Restaurant & Bar is located in the middle of the block on the left.

 

Main Gate Entrance from I-15

Exit Miramar Way; proceed west on Miramar Way to the gate. Continue on Miramar Way through two traffic signals and two four way stop intersections.  Turn right onto Anderson Avenue.  The Palms Restaurant & Bar is located on the left.
