In this presentation, Light House’s executive director, Helen Goodland will explore the emerging world of low carbon innovation and how this will impact the construction community. Bringing lessons from leading-edge work in the UK and around the world, she will demystify some of the new technologies hitting the streets and provide practical illustrations through project case studies. She will focus on the technologies at the point of integration with buildings: pointing to lessons learnt from the early adopters. She will also share top-line findings from the economic development activity currently underway at Light House and how it is shaping BC’s emerging sustainable building sector.
