A 7 1/2 mile day hike of moderate ability with a 1700 foot elevation gain. Annette Lake sits directly between Silver Peak and Abiel Peak. Steep cliffs drop into the woods and lingering snowfields that surround the lake. Avalanche chutes open the canopy in places providing some views of Humpback Mountain.
