Event Details

Perth, Western Australia is the most isolated capital city in the world.

Dave 'Bish' Bishop is a multi-award nominated yet massively unsuccessful screenwriter and indie filmmaker who moves back to Perth (his hometown) after coming 2nd in Project Greenlight Australia and completely failing to get his film financed. He enrolls in film school. His graduating assignment is to keep a video diary.

Everything starts out normal enough (at first) until we discover that Perth is actually the site of a secret joint U.S. - Australian defense project that goes massively wrong and produces a neutron wave that eliminates all but 0.001% of the population (within the blast radius) and turns everyone outside the blast radius into zombies.

At first Bish adapts quite well to life as a soul survivor, breaking into houses, driving cars he could never have afforded, blowing up X-girlfriend's houses with a field howitzer and just generally enjoying the lack of a society.

When he discovers another survivor who just happens to be a woman who just happens to be hot, he channels the spirits of his greatest heroes (Han Solo and Mad Max) in an attempt to find the hero within. Unfortunately the hero within has nothing in common with Han Solo or Mad Max other than an Aussie accent and a talent for wisecracking.

Hilarity ensues ... kind of.
