Brooklyn Garden Bike Tour


Whether you're a teacher, a biker, a gardener, or an explorer, come participate in a great day outside! We will tour gardens in Brooklyn to see first-hand how they are being used in education.

11 AM - 4 PM

Meet at Brooklyn Botanic Garden (front gate) at 11 AM

(Canceled if it rains)


Amazing gardens on the tour include: Backyard Garden Summit St. Garden, Amazing Garden, Garden of Union, Brooklyn New School, Added Value, BBG's Children's (GreenBridge) and possibly others. A specific schedule will be provided closer to the event date.

We'll be traveling around 10 miles. Bring a bike, a helmet, a bike lock and a water bottle. If you are unable to bring a bike, you can follow us using public transportation. 

Some refreshments will be provided.

There are only 40 spots, so sign up soon so you won't miss out!

At the end of this wonderful day on bikes and exploring gardens we recommend that you take your bikes to the Valentino Pier on Coffey St. If you need to find your way back to a bike lane, we will lead a group of novice riders to Union St.
