My Saturday appointments are officially closed for the year.  Please see the Sunday option for your evaluations and consultations.  If this does work for you, please contact me via email.

Please see http://janzeiger.com/portfolio.html if you're looking for information about what to bring to the evaluation.   I'm using an automated system this year for booking appointments, but you're always welcome to email me at mrszeiger @ gmail.com with your questions. I can guarantee a quick response if you write to that address.

Thanks for using Event Brite to book your evaluation.  If you are new to homeschooling or just need assistance, you are welcome to book this appointment for a consultation.  I look forward to meeting you! :)

Jan Zeiger, Homeschool Consultant & Evaluator

Jan completed her BA and Master's degrees in Elementary Education at the University of Florida and taught for 6 years in Seminole County (in both public and private school). She is available to help families who are just starting out as well as more experienced families who need yearly evaluations.

Jan recommends a balanced approach to homeschooling that provides opportunities for hands-on and "delight-driven" learning. The homeschooling mother of two encourages parents to keep long-term goals for their children in mind when making educational decisions. These goals might include a great sense of self, a lifelong love for learning, and a strong academic foundation.

Jan has worked with more than 100 families in the area and has written articles about homeschooling for local and national publications. In addition to homeschooling her own children, she is currently studying Educational Leadership at UCF.
