Search for the Cause was founded in 2002 when it was discovered that cancer rates in Marin County were the highest in the country. Our purpose and strong resolve is dedicated to identifying and combating environmental risk factors that may increase cancer rates in our communities and to educate our residents about healthy lifestyle changes. Stop the Spray Marin is a project of Search for the cause, dedicated to stopping the misuse of pesticides, both aerial and ground-based, to control the light brown apple moth (LBAM) and other potentially invasive pests.
