When is Love Good Enough? To start, stay or to leave?

 

How do we know when someone is right for us or if she/he is worth fighting for when things go wrong? Helen and Esther will each share their unique perspectives on attraction and desire as it relates to these questions. Join in on this rare opportunity to hear science and psychology in an exciting dialogue with each other. 

 

The format of the evening is intended to be educational and fun:

- Helen and Esther will each interview each other on the topic as well as two audience volunteers in what promises to be a lively dialogue

The Discussion will be followed by a QA

 

Helen E. Fisher, PhD biological anthropologist, is a Research Professor in the Department of Anthropology at Rutgers University. She has written five books on the evolution and future of human sexuality, monogamy, adultery and divorce, gender differences in the brain, the chemistry of romantic love, and most recently, human personality types and why we fall in love with one person rather than another. She is also the Chief Scientific Advisor to Chemistry.com, a division of Match.com. She has been a guest in countless TV shows but most recently in: Nightline (ABC), Dateline NBC, PrimeTime Live (ABC), 20/20 (ABC),  “The View,” The Colbert Report, CNN News, CNN International News (10+ times), The Today Show (NBC) (50+ times),  NBC Nightly News,  ABC World News Tonight, Good Morning America (ABC) (10+ times)
