What is the public value of journalism in 2010?

The BBC College of Journalism and Polis at the London School of Economics are holding a major conference looking at the public value of journalism in 2010.

Join a growing number of networked journalists exploring the key issues in a day of keynotes, discussions and debates with industry experts.

Coming just after the UK election, this conference will provide a perfect opportunity to put the role of networked journalism in democracy under review.

There will be a series of  debates, discussions and keynote speeches from some of the most respected figures in the UK and global media.
