Here's how it works:

Students bring a laptop which they'll use for learning and subsequent practice to a setup session at Pace on May 20th from 6-8 PM. If you have a choice of machine, mac or linux are the preferred options here.

This is the schedule for the workshop on May 21st:

• 9:30 registration coffee/tea
• 10am-10:20 large group presentation: why we're doing this workshop, highlights of women in computing, short history of Ruby and Rails, what each is good for and the relationship between them, what participants can expect from the workshop.
• 10:30-11:20 session 1
• 11:30-12:20 session 2
• 12:30-1:30 lunch
• 1:30-2:20 session 3
• 2:30-3:20 session 4
• 3:30-4pm large group wrap up
