A presentation from Rob Back, the Forward Planning and Economic Development Manager at Rugby Borough Council. The presentation will cover general developments in Rugby with particular emphasis on the 9000 homes planned on the Rubgy Radio Station site.

The FORCE Annual AGM will preceed the presentation.

Aims & Objectives

The club's objectives are:

  • Learn about Constructing Excellence and Best Practice issues from each other and the wider construction community and to share this knowledge so that the performance of local construction organisations improves.
  • Provide opportunities for members to network and gain new business.
  • Act as a focal point for quality local construction expertise.
  • Provide a forum for lobbying on issues of importance to the sector.
  • Encourage the acquisition of additional resources for business improvement purposes or grants for staff training.
  • Encourage employment of local labour through upskilling and working with local partners.
  • To promote the construction industry at all levels, including drawing attention to the huge contribution this makes to the economy, environment and society.
