Join us, merry makers, for a play so grotesque with tragedy that it features thirty one characters played by six actors in forty settings, spanning thousands of miles and hundreds of years. Star-crossed lovers, hunchbacks, villains, tyrants and heroes, friars and witches, gravediggers, soothsayers, ghosts, clowns, cowards and kings, dukes and…well…actors shall take to the stage to perform in this recently ‘uncovered’ Shakespearean tragedy.
Feast your eyes upon sets of reclaimed mortar and loam! Are those sconces made of beer bottles? Bricks of VHS tape from long forgotten cabinets of yore? Helmets of cans and spoons? Wimples of dishrags? You will not believe your eyes and shall be 'green' with envy over our recycled set pieces, costumes, & props. Come and witness what can happen when Chicago's trash becomes our Treasure!
