Join local performer and instructor Najla for 90 minutes of movement, mother-daughter bonding and an introduction to one of the oldest known forms of dance. Belly dance is an art form for women of all ages, shapes and skill levels.

Class is open to adult women and their daughters age 5 and up who are ready to focus and learn while having fun. No previous dance experience is necessary.

Our workshop space is Intrigue Gallery at Lovey's Loot Boutique, with lots of room to move, smooth wooden floors and lots of light.

Wear clothing that shows your body line so the instructor can observe your movements for proper form; you don't need to show your belly. Yoga pants and a tank top or similar dancewear are a good choice along with a hip scarf if you have one. Bare feet or flat dance slippers are recommended, as is a bottle of water.

Enrollment is limited so register early to guarantee your place in the workshop and to take advantage of the online signup discount. Admission at the door will be on a space-available basis only, $30 cash per mother-daughter pair and $10 for each additional daughter.
