ASTD-Puget Sound April Chapter Meeting

 “CoreClarity® - A New Way To Engage”

In Tom Rath’s most recent book “Strengths Based Leadership” he writes, “The most effective leaders are always investing in strengths. In the workplace, when an organization's leadership fails to focus on individuals' strengths, the odds of an employee being engaged are a dismal 1 in 11 (9%). But when an organization's leadership focuses on the strengths of its employees, the odds soar to almost 3 in 4 (73%). When leaders focus on and invest in their employees' strengths, the odds of each person being engaged go up eightfold.”

What are your strengths? What are your core talents? How engaged are you in your work, in your life?
Studies have shown that employees that are passionate, committed and enthused feel appreciated and use their talents and energy for the success of the business.  Disengaged employees feel under-utilized, are apathetic, negative and contagious!  Current statistics show over two-thirds of employees fall into this second category and that employee engagement strongly correlates to individual, group and corporate performance.*

CoreClarity®  is a new leadership model that will give you a clearer understanding how individual talents can positively impact employee engagement, personal growth, personal and professional relationships and corporate success.  CoreClarity® provides a disciplined approach to identifying and understanding an individual’s core talents and how those innate competencies affect daily decisions, career choices, learning preferences and motivations, as well as how they drive personal and professional relationships.

In this chapter meeting you will:

 Discover your hidden talents in a new way
 Learn about a new leadership model ~  CoreClarity® In-Powering People and Teams™ Program
 Discuss applications of this new model and the value it could bring in your work, your teams and/or your organization

Raffle drawing: two lucky attendees will each win:

1.  Strengthsfinder 2.0 book by Tom Rath
2. 1:1 CoreClarity® assessment evaluation  (1 hour  facilitated by Anne Lancaster)
