Event Details
Peace Corps volunteers serve in countries assisting local communities in community development, information technology, health, education, business, agriculture and the environment. Potential Peace Corps applicants are highly sought with an education background or experience in environment and agriculture, in addition to applicants with French and Spanish language skills.
Peace Corps volunteers receive round trip transportation overseas, a monthly living allowance, full medical/dental coverage, possible student loan deferment, 24 vacation days per year and a $6075 readjustment allowance after completion of service, in addition to potential graduate school opportunities.
