Wednesday, June 13, 2007 from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM (GMT+1000)
At the June CJUG meeting, Ben Alex will be presenting on the Spring Portfolio. This will be of great interest to people interesting in a "big picture" overview of Spring and its associated collection of integrated open source products. Existing users will also hear about the roadmap, as well as some of the portfolio members they aren't already using. Ben presented this topic at the Singapore JUG, Sydney Spring User Group, Melbourne Spring User Group, the Wellington JUG and Auckland JUG.
There is no cost involved to attend, with undercover parking available (look for Sun Microsystems signs). Building access is an issue, since the building will be secured after 6:00 pm. Regular pick-ups will take place every 10 minutes from 6:00 pm until 6:30 pm.
You do not need to be a Canberra Java User Group member to attend. Although we would appreciate you registering via this web site, so that we can ensure there is sufficient seating and refreshments for those interested.
Interested in learning more about Spring? Anyone registering for the user group meeting via this web site is automatically in the prize draw to win a free seat at Interface21's flagship 4-day Canberra Core Spring Course. This course is being run 9-12 July 2007 in the CBD.
Your registration record will not be shared with anyone. We'll only use it to add you to the Australasia Spring Interest list and Canberra Java User Group Mailing List (so that you know about future user group meetings and similar events in our region, as well as any potential changes to this event's details).
Please note that registration is on a first-come basis, as seating is limited at this event. Therefore, kindly register ASAP to secure your place. Also, please let us know if you can't attend so that we don't keep your place reserved. Unfortunately late registrations cannot be guaranteed seating, although we'll always do our best to accommodate you.
