Are you a ‘working mom?’

Those two words have become one of the most confusing, frustrating, and emotional phrases in the American mother’s vocabulary. One thing is certain: whether you are a stay-at-home mother or go to a paying job every day, moms in the U.S. share some universal feelings like guilt, frustration and confusion that are hurting their ability to be happy in life.

So how can American moms get a handle on this challenge and take steps to find a more satisfying personal (and professional!) life?  Join us for an event that will leave you enlightened and motivated to find the success and satisfaction you want and deserve.

This session will be presented by J.T. O'Donnell. Married and a mother of two young children, she is also a professional development specialist and workplace consultant. As an author and a nationally syndicated  career advice columnist, O'Donnell will share her own journey that led her to give herself an 'extreme career makeover.'

In this session, you'll learn how history and society have impacted a mother's ability to be happy. Better still, O'Donnell will share what can be done to remove the roadblocks and create the life-work balance you desire. Attendees will discover some little-known but important elements that have affected a mom's ability to create an authentic defintion of career, such as:

Sensorial Assault (a.k.a. Satisfaction Programming)

Pop-behaviorism, and

Cinderella Syndrome

You'll also learn how these concepts are directly impacting your thoughts and actions. This session will leave you enthusiastic about your ability to improve your situation and motivated to develop a career on your own terms. More importantly, it will show moms that as their own children's most influential teacher, it's time to take control and set a positive example for our future generatons to follow.

Seating is limited to only 40 participants. All attendees will receive a copy of O'Donnell's book, "Find Your Career Path" - a $17 value! The event price also includes some lighter fare consisting of several of Bonta's best appetizers. A cash bar will be available.

So...what could be better? This is a true 'grown up' night out at a luxurious local restaurant, paired with a powerful learning experience that is guaranteed to change your perspective on work. Don't wait - sign up today and take your first step towards a more satisfying career!
