Event Details
UCLA neuro-scientist Bill Scott will present his "BrainPaint" software, which transforms EEG brain signal activity into fractal graphics and sound. This unique brain biofeedback technology has already been used for the successful treatment of a variety of issues.
We will present it and put it to new use by directly involving it in the creative process. Audience members will have the opportunity to experience this new technology directly and experience their brains as sound and vision.
In addition we will be performing "Caution: Wet BrainPaint!!!", a composition by Noa Winter Lazerus specifically created for this event. The composition will be performed by the composer with his hands and brain.
The performance will be introduced by Dr. Stephen Hoeller, one of the leading scholars verserd in both Eastern and Western wisdom traditions.
