The Strategic Leadership Forum (SLF) and the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (ASAP) have joined forces to organize the first Canadian conference of its kind focused on what it takes to build an enterprise model capable of leveraging partnerships and alliances to achieve its goals.

Competing in a turbulent world characterized by global economic recession, ballooning deficits, high unemployment, shaky consumer confidence, weak global financial institutions and creeping protectionism means Canadian organizations need to examine all avenues to growth.

Forming strategic alliances offers a proven way for a variety of organizations to join forces in raising capital, in sharing the risks of developing new products and services and in penetrating new markets, not only in Canada but in US, Europe, and Asia.

This half-day seminar features two keynote speakers: one on Public/Private (P3) alliances, Dr. Ilse Treurnicht CEO of MaRS Discovery District, and one on Private Sector (B2B) alliances, Joe Deklic CFO of Cisco Systems Canada.

Each speaker will be followed by a moderated panel discussion consisting of executives and senior level advisors with significant experience in establishing and growing successful P3 and B2B strategic alliances in a variety of industry sectors.
