Kirit Patel , PriceWaterhouse Coopers

Startup Grind North Bay will host Kirit Patel at Venture Greenhouse on Thursday, April 4th from 6:30-8:30pm. Kirit has significant experience working in private equity and venture capital both internationally and in the US, with a focus on technology-driven business models. He will continue to be the managing partner of Tamalpais Ventures, a private equity firm, where he actively managed 6 portfolio companies. Kirit also brings to The Angels Forum his previous experience at Platinum Equity, where, as Principal & Senior Vice President, he was dynamically involved in the management of the firm's $4 billion revenue portfolio. Previously, Kirit ran a $100 million private equity fund focused on technology investments. Between 1990 - 1998, Kirit worked for PriceWaterhouse Coopers as a Senior Manager in the Corporate Finance & Recovery Practice. He also worked for Invesco as a Manager in the Mergers & Acquisition Group working on deals in the US and Europe. Kirit began his career in England as an attorney and then joined PriceWaterhouse Coopers and qualified as an accountant. He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Warwick Business School, University of Warwick in England - specializing in Corporate Finance & Competitive Strategy. Kirit also holds a JD/LLB honors degree in Law from the Law School at University of Essex in England.
